A Grand Opening: XXVIII Trofeu Alcoi Ciutat del Nadal
On December 7, Club Santa Lucía organized the 4th Round of the Valencian Indoor League and the XXVIII Alcoi Christmas City Trophy, a day that brought together the best archers in the region at the facilities of the Francisco Laporta Sports Complex in Alcoy.
The competition, which featured over 200 participants across categories such as recurve, compound, traditional, longbow, and adapted archery, was held in an atmosphere of camaraderie and high competitiveness. One of the notable updates was the new official rule of 30 seconds per arrow, implemented by the RFETA for upcoming national championships.
The event concluded with the Christmas Hamper Shot and the heartfelt trophy ceremony, leaving all attendees with an unforgettable experience. Iberpapel was present as part of its commitment to local sports, supporting the archers with every shot.

A Tribute to Municipalities Affected by the DANA
During the competition, a tribute was paid to over 80 municipalities in the Valencian Community affected by the recent DANA, which caused severe material damage and loss of life. As a symbol of solidarity, a flag of the Valencian Community with the names of the affected towns was displayed.
The tribute included a musical performance by dolçainer Ferran Mora Córcoles in the center of the court. This simple yet meaningful gesture was a moment of respect for the victims and support for all those affected by the tragedy.

At Iberpapel, we are also looking ahead to our next participation in Spannabis 2025 as we did in the previous edition, which will take place from March 14 to 16 at the Fira de Cornellà, Barcelona.
